Every once and a while I will post and unusual photos I was lucky enough to take walking the streets of Bangkok or traveling in the area. This photo is of a Buddha being transported in the back of a pickup truck. It made me think Buddha was being kidnapped. What you can’t see in the photo is that in the passenger seat of the pickup truck is a Monk, probably responsible for the safe keeping of the Buddha. There are Buddha stores around Bangkok, with large Buddhas wrapped in plastic waiting to be sold and have a home. They always catch my eye too. Let me know what you think…

Transported Buddha
