Singapore’s Formula 1 Grand Prix
Singapore was ablaze this past weekend with the finals of the Formula 1 Grand Prix. I was lucky enough to have an awesome venue for watching the race as it snaked through this Southeast Asian City, from on top of the Marina Bay Sands Hotel. This 55 story casino/hotel is tricked out on top with a viewing platform that looks quite like a ship. Only this ship is replete with pools bars and bands, and plenty of space to view the city. You can find many references to ships throughout the city for Singapore is known for being one the busiest seaports in the world. The view from on top of the Maria Bay Sands Hotel was absolutely the best in the city to view the Grand Prix, having an overhead view of almost the entire route extending from the capital building all the way over to the Singapore Flier.
